Interior of Peter Spicer's workshop
Believed to be the last remaining workshop of the "greats"

Interior of Peter Spicer's workshop.
Several members of the society had the privilege of visiting
the workshops courtesy of Robert Chinnery to photograph
the premises. Having remained untouched for many years,
it was as if time had stood still.

Fox Mask

Peter Spicer Otter head 1929

A fine example of a Spicer 'snarling' Fox mask.
Spicer's produced thousands of these 'trade mark' fox masks. A pose
clearly done for
maximum effect.
Of course in life, foxes do not have the same facial muscle structure
as
other dogs and therefore are actually unable to snarl.
